While waiting for the official launch of the OPPO Reno10 Series, OPPO Indonesia appears to be focusing on introducing a more affordable smartphone option first. Following the release of the A78, the company has now officially launched the OPPO A58 NFC in the local market. The design closely resembles its predecessor, but the price is set lower at around 2 million IDR.
The OPPO A58 NFC was initially released last year in select markets such as China, though with a different set of specifications, including 5G support. The Indonesian version features a unique combination of design and specs tailored for the market, along with a more budget-friendly price tag.
This latest OPPO Android smartphone boasts a large 6.72-inch Full HD+ display with 100% DCI-P3 color coverage, delivering bright and vivid visuals. Its latest dual stereo speakers create an immersive surround sound experience, capable of producing 40% louder volume. Ultra Volume Mode further amplifies sound—up to 200% for headphones and 300% for speakers.
The OPPO A58 NFC is powered by 33W SUPERVOOC fast-charging technology, enabling its large battery to reach 52% in just 30 minutes. It runs on a MediaTek Helio G85 Octa-Core processor and supports virtual RAM expansion, allowing an additional 6GB of RAM when needed.
As its name suggests, the OPPO A58 NFC is positioned as the successor to the OPPO A57, not only in terms of design but also with upgraded specifications. It’s priced about 100,000 IDR cheaper than the A57 while offering the same internal storage capacity.
Despite being more affordable, the phone retains OPPO’s signature Glow finish, which gives it a sparkling appearance while resisting fingerprints. The rear panel features subtle 2.5D curves on both sides, while the front sports an 8MP selfie camera housed in a centrally placed punch-hole cutout at the top of the display.
